ASHVAMEDHA is the annual sports fest of Indian Institute of Technology Bhubaneswar — three days in which the campus stops being a campus and becomes an arena. Group stages run from first light, finals close under the floodlights, and a single table decides who leaves with the Ashvamedha Shield.

BASKETBALL
Basketball will be conducted according to FIBA rules as adopted by the Basketball Federation of India. Teams must have a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 12 players.

THE ARENA
Football follows standard FIFA rules. A team must consist of a minimum of 7 and maximum of 16 players, with ten outfield players and one goalkeeper in the stated playing formation.
